If you had to name the top three pickup truck sellers in the world, odds are the Ford name would be on your list somewhere. Ford’s F-Series family of trucks has been a mainstay of the pickup segment for years. Ford F-Series truck sales even outpace the overall U.S. sales of almost all other automakers. Now, Forbes has come out with high praise for F-Series Super Duty capability. Due to advancements in technology and engineering, the F-Series Duper Duty trucks are more rugged and strong than ever.
The F-Series Super Duty had not received an all-new, next-generation redesign in more than ten years, so the significant upgrade was also a welcome one. The Super Duty makes use of the F-150’s aluminum box-on-steel-frame and spacious, comfortable cab structure for a relaxing driving experience that feels more like lounging. However, the new chassis has a reinforced hitch receiver, upgraded suspension, and new brakes. There are numerous other mechanical upgrades that lend themselves to more powerful towing and hauling capabilities as well.
Of course, F-Series Super Duty capability isn’t the only thing the vehicle has to offer. With features like class-exclusive adaptive steering, safety systems like blind spot warning and lane departure warning, and a Trailer Reverse Guidance system, the 2017 F-Series Super Duty trucks are fully outfitted to be safer, nimbler, and more secure than ever before.
